What it is
Second Life is a life simulator designed blind-first and played entirely by talking. You step into a new life — a home of your own, work to do, people to know — and live it day by day. Its world is built from sound: rooms, weather, streets and voices create the place around you, in an original sound-driven design where what you hear is the world.
What you do in it
- Make a life yours — settle into a home and shape your days the way you choose.
- Work and get by — earn, spend, and plan, with the ordinary triumphs and tight weeks that make a life feel real.
- Know people — relationships grow out of the conversations you have and the choices you make.
- Live the days — daily events, small surprises, and turning points arrive as you play; no two lives run the same way.
- Come back to it — your life is saved as you go and waits for you, exactly where you left it.
How to play
When Second Life launches, open it on any Alexa device by saying “Alexa, open Second Life.” From there, you simply live: answer, choose, ask what is happening around you. The game always lets you know what you can do next.
