Beyond Earth
The harbour lights of Earth are behind you. Ahead: eleven star systems, peoples who have never heard your name, and a ship’s Computer waiting for your orders, Captain.

What it is
Beyond Earth is a space exploration, trading, research and empire game designed blind-first and played entirely by voice. You are the captain: you name yourself and your ship, and your Computer narrates the voyage — every world, price, rumour and battle — and answers to “Brief me, Computer.” Your voyage is saved after every action.
What you do in it
- Explore — travel within systems and jump between eleven charted stars, then chart new systems endlessly from any Edge Gate. Worlds orbit, so the cost of every trip changes with the days.
- Mine and refine — dig out ore, ice, carbon, crystal, gas and exotic matter, and refine them into fuel, oxygen, metal and polymer.
- Build your ship up — workshop upgrades, technologies, weapons, shields, drones, mining tools and new ship classes, from first launch to Admiral.
- Trade living markets — prices move with each culture’s needs, your reputation, and the galaxy news. Eleven peoples, each with their own voice, values, and a unique curio.
- Meet the galaxy — visit settlements to talk, hear rumours, take contracts, learn lore, make diplomacy — or war.
- Unearth artefacts — excavate ancient finds and research them in three stages for bonuses that last the whole voyage.
- Found an empire — plant colonies, link supply lines, commission a fleet, and defend what you build.
- Never be stranded — run dry out in the dark and a free rescue tow, or a distress call, always brings you home. Out here, there is always a way back.
How to play
When Beyond Earth launches, open it on any Alexa device by saying “Alexa, open Beyond Earth.” Then give orders the way a captain does: “navigate,” “travel to Mars,” “mine ice,” “brief me.” Say “help” at any time and the Computer will lay out everything you can do.
Coming soon. Beyond Earth is in active development at Earshot Worlds. Follow the blind Dad on Facebook for the launch announcement.
